Alcohol. Wow. Sooo many empty calories in just a drink (more than some sodas!). During the week I felt amazing as my body was sore everywhere and as the saying goes "no pain, no gain". I kept my close to my goal of 1,200 calories per day and having a surplus in calories burned. I succeeded until it got to Friday evening. Everything went down hill from there. I ate like there was no tomorrow and also had a few cocktails to wash the meals down. It's crazy that after I imputed my meals into "MyFitnessPal" on Sunday evening I just couldn't believe that instead of going forward towards my nutrition goal I backtracked tremendously. Let's just say Sunday evening snack did not happen :-O This week my goal is to be able to manage my school work, my internship as well as my nutrition and workouts. I know it will be difficult, but nothing is every easy or else we would all be fit. I will be smarter about planning ahead my meals for the weekend. If I do go out to eat, I am going to go for the smarter foods and pass on the alcohol. My victory drink will be when I finish this journey.
